Get your tools and safety gear ready... |

Double-check that all the items on the packing list were
actually in the box. |

Find the Tower Base |
 |
|
4. |
Decide the Location for the tower and place the Tower Base
in the center. The simple method is shown. One could also pour a "one bag"
foundation. |

5. |
Mark the location for the anchors. |
 |
|
6. |
The "Arrow Head" anchors are made to be inserted into the
ground with the included driving rod. |
 |
|
7. |
Pound the rod into ground until the remaining cable is the
length specified in the manual |
 |
|
8. |
Find the bag full of u-bolts. |
 |
|
9. |
Stretch out the guy wires and connect them to the anchor
cables. |
 |
|
10. |
Lay out the pipe for the tower. Don't connect them together,
yet. Install the guy wire connectors to each particular pipe
segment according to the manual. |
 |
|
11. |
Install the wire into the pipe. |
 |
|
12. |
Push and pull the cable through each piece of the tower
pipe and connect each pipe as you proceed to the top. |
 |
|
13. |
Attach the tower to the base. |
 |
|
14. |
With a buddy, erect the tower and tighten the guy wires.
Verify the tower is plumb with a level. |
 |
|
15. |
Open the Turbine Box. |
 |
|
16. |
Connect the wires from the turbine to the tower wire using
wire nuts, bolts or European style terminal block. |
 |
|
17. |
Make sure your method is insulated. |
 |
|
18. |
Insert the tower into the turbine and tighten the bolts. |
 |
|
19. |
Install the blades. |
 |
|
20. |
With a buddy, erect the tower and double check the tower
plumb... |
 |
|
21. |
Pray for wind! (tower is straight camera man is tired...) |
